Nov 2018 Project
Rotarians United to Stop Hunger (RUSH) Application
Kernersville Rotarians joined other Triad Rotary Clubs to help kick-off District 7690’s newly instituted RUSH program. Rotarians Unite to Stop Hunger (RUSH) kicked off at the third annual Family of Rotary baseball game with the Grasshoppers in Greensboro on August 7. A portion of the proceeds benefited the Second Harvest Food Bank located in Winston-Salem. The following day, 15 members of the Rotary Club of Winston-Salem joined other Triad Rotarians at Second Harvest Food Bank for a meaningful morning of volunteer work to address food insecurity in our local community. We were privileged to work alongside Rotary International President, John Germ, who was visiting our community for the first time as Rotary International President.
